Good-Bye Ronald Reagan
Puting aside politics,...Ronald Reagan took office when I was 7 years old and left when I was 15. He was the only President for pretty much all of my childhood growing up. When I was in 7th grade I wrote IMPEACH REAGAN on my notebook using white-out.
One thing I will always remember about Reagan,...during his term our relations with the then Soviet Union wasn't too good. In fact, there was always talk about a nuclear war. The Day After was this huge TV movie that came out in 1983 or so. Scared us kids shitless. However deep down,...if you asked any 10 year old in the United States back in 1983 they would tell you that Ronnie had our backs and would be there to kick some Commie Ass for us!
