(no subject)
Went and saw Episode III last night with Mike, Eric, and one of Mike's co-workers (who seemed a cool enough guy). I enjoyed it, though there were a couple things that didn't seem to fit quite right (mostly because they had to match up the end of this movie to the beginning of the "first" trilogy.
I got home at about 2 and finally got to sleep a couple hours later, just to wake up for work a bit after 8.
I've been getting less sleep recently anyway, so I'm kinda used to it. I stay up late because I can't sleep, then do my best to get up at a decent hour because I feel shitty if I sleep in and waste the day.
Nic pissed me off at work today. I hit play on "Futures" again (which, to be fair, we listen to quite a bit on the weekends) and he walks over, takes the disc out of the player (it's a portable/walkman style CD player hooked up to the stereo) unplugs it and flings the CD player up on top of the walk in. This doesn't affect him as much because he has recently purchased a mp3 player and has been bringing that in and hooking that up... so yeah... I told him to his face that that was uncalled for and shitty and walked away to the front of the store. When he finally comes up front to ask me a question about something, I say nothing (he wasn't asking about anything important). "Oh, fuck. Just go home" says he, and walks away. I finish the half hour of my shift saying very little to him.
Had a talk with Mike before everyone else started to arrive.
I got to see a few people I haven't seen in quite some time (namely _yourbestbet_, cicconeyouth, and beatsanddefeats). Played some Guess Who with Mike for the amusement of others (didn't really think that was possible), and later he and I grilled Amber about her new boyfriend before quizzing each other on the Guess Who board.
Tomorrow's my Grandpa's birthday, so I'll be going over there with my family before work.
