Dear Yuletide Author - 2014
Hello and Happy Yuletide 2014!
To save us all time, this letter is the same as the past two years running, because - surprise! I still pretty much like all the same stuff! Read on, fair author and embrace my whims. THANKS!
It's true - I am a big slacker - lol, well I'm kinda just a super busy person and my great intentions fall by the wayside. I have grandiose plans, and only 24 hours in the day. lol. So, sadly I don't really post on my livejournal because most of the time, I feel like I have nothing to say that anyone would want to read. (I hardly even post status updates on fb)
Anywho, I am a huge tv and movie fan. I'm a kids and teen librarian and I love books. I love trivia and gaming (World of Warcraft). Now, you know the innermost me - on to yuletide.
Thank you so much for writing me a story. I am so happy that you've taken the time to do this for me and I appreciate it! I am a big fan of "what happens next". My want of anything fan fiction is to continue a story that I like so much I want more. No matter what happened in the Harry Potter epilogue, I was cool with it, because it gave me an ending. It's like that cute commercial with the adorable little girl who's all like, "What if you want more? But, you can't have more?" lol. I always want more......Always.
1.Disney's Paperman (Video Short)
I would like to see what happens next for this happy little couple. Do they end up together or does fate have another plan? I'm ok if they don't end up together, as I've mentioned, I just like closure/epilogues. :)
2. Eight Cousins - Lousia May Alcott
I love this book and its sequel 'Rose in Bloom'. I love the characters of Mac and Rose ending up together. I would love a story of Rose and Mac after being married and maybe their children? If you're not too familiar with 'Rose in Bloom' and want to stick to Eight Cousins, then give me an adventure with all the cousins. Maybe they all go on a special trip for an event, or for one of the aunt's health, or maybe even its just the cousins exploring New York City or something, but a fun family romp would be awesome.
3. Enola Holmes - Nancy Springer
I love this whole universe. I love Enola. I love what she puts her brothers through. Give me a funny and clever story that gives Enola justice, a footing with her brothers, and an end. I'd love to see Enola in love as well - guy or girl. If she solved a mystery too, that would be amazing.
4. Nancy Drew - Carolyn Keene
What can anyone say about Nancy. She's awesome. I want a new mystery story. It can be set in the 30's or the present. I would love even more if the Jean and Louise Dana (Dana Girls Mystery Stories) were there kicking ass too. It's even cooler if Ned and Nancy take their relationship to the next level - or not - your choice. Bess and George can come too. The more the merrier. Let's share our love of Nancy together!
