1. CSI (and NY)

Lessee. CSI is the only show I've watched from season 1 when it first aired on TV until the time when Grissom left. Through-out middle and highschool I really made a conscious effort to watch every episode. I love mysteries and I love the science. However, once Sara left and I got involved in some online RPing with friends who favored CSI:Ny I found myself drifting over to the blue-tint and once I was over there, completely fell in love with the characters. I think of the three of them, CSI:NY has the most intriguing characters. Even if TPTB seem to be incapable of not fucking it up with the whole lindsay pregnancy and blah blah /fanrant. Is good show.

2. Gayboys

Guilty a hundred percent as charged. I love gay boys. I have always loved gay boys. I am not entirely sure when this all began, but really, I'm head over heals for most of them, and most of my OTPs in a fandom are of the boy/boy variety. I'm particularly fond of Nick/Greg, and Danny/Mac or Danny/Don or Danny/Mac/Don, yum.

I also seem to collect them in my real life? Um? This makes me constantly happy all the time, but they are rarer in Indiana, and that makes me sad. I miss my gay boys. Pretty much every day.

3. Vampires (especially hot ones)

Vampires. Guh. I friggin' love vampires. I always have. I was that odd sixth grader reading interview with a vampire instead of...whatever I was supposed to be reading in six grade. And well, you take something totally cool and then have someone HAWT play them? Damn, you've got Chy glued to a couch to watch the duration.
this,
this and
this respectively.

Yum.

Additionally, I have given a great deal of thought to this (because...I need a life.SENDHELPKTHX and I think...I mean, I won't KNOW until the opportunity presents itself, but I THINK I'd totally be 97% down with becoming a vampire if someone offered.

4. Scotland

Ah, Edinburgh. I loved Scotland, and I had so much fun with petitecrivan when we went. I even got her drunk! My favorite part was our trip up to loch ness, but I really really really enjoyed ALL of it.

I want to go back. For about a WEEK.

5. The 2008 Presidential election

Also known as the highlight of my entire life, what? Um, I really really really really love politics. And I really really really love Barack Obama, so I followed this election super closely. And I'll never ever forget Election night, because it was...words escape me. I mean, I can't even remember what Obama said in his speech, but I remember crying, and I remember the fantastic part where the west coast closed and then they called it and everyone just...LOST it. It was amazing.

Yeah. Go 'Bama!!
