What the kids are watching?

I overheard the following exchange just now while Zack was watching "Clone Wars" on Cartoon Network:

"Here Padme, just hold my lightsaber."

"No, Anakin, I don't want..."

"Just hold it for a little bit."

"No, I don't...wow. It's so...heavy."

"It's yours."

!!!!!

Good thing Zack won't find any hidden messages in that for a good long while!

If by good long while you mean until he hits elementary school. Which is about what, 1 to 2 years from now? Kids learn about sex as early as kindergarten. I know, I speak from experience.

It will still be a long while before he understands the double meaning behind what I posted. Getting jokes is not the same as knowing about sex, and I know he won't be getting jokes until at least junior high.

The kids today are a lot more savvy about that stuff then we were. While he may not get the full conotation in kindergarten.... I'd say fourth grade and he'll start getting it.
