(no subject)
So far today I have accomplished very little. I ended up getting the expensive but available DSL modem, and getting it working. However setting up the wireless router seems to be beyond me. As well as the fact that if someone uses the phone, my internet disconnects itself. This pretty well defeats the whole 'can surf without tying up phone line' thing.
My uncle is coming up tomorrow, weather permitting, and hopefully with a couple phone filters. Dad figures that should help with the problems.
A friend of my Grandma's came over today, she came to Collingwood for a funeral of a mutual friend, and is staying for a few days. I love her to bits, she's one of those old ladies with a wicked sense of humour. It's been fun listening to her and Grandma talking, and I know that Grandma is enjoying having her here.
Tomorrow I will attempt the pool again. I can't believe how sore I am right now, it's a lot worse than this morning. I ended up taking a Tylenol, because I was worried that I wouldn't be able to sleep. You use a lot of different muscles when you swim, and if it's been a long time, they protest. That and my skin is like sandpaper, I keep putting cream on and it vanishes instantly.
I just love winter.
