There's a shuddering boom from the lobby; the mansion trembles in the wake of the noise and the jarring -thud-. In the centre of it all is a mysterious capsule, looking like it might have been a diving bell at one point before it was modified, wires and strange mechanics attached to the top and sides. The marble under it is cracked, and sparks still fly, electricity arcing and filling the air with the sharp scent of ozone.

The handle to the door on the front shudders and creaks, stops halfway through it's movement. There's a muffled thud on the door, as if someone has hit it in irritation, silence for a moment, then a highpitched vhreeeeeeeeee-- noise as something activates and powers up--

And the door blows off its hinges, crashing soundly into the opposite wall as a figure stumbles from the smoke-filled interior, hacking and coughing, their entire body covered in dust, staining hair and skin a dirty brown colour, eyes protected by a pair of heavy-duty goggles.
