In the Roman calender, the 15th of March was known as the Ides of March. It was brought to popularity by William Shakespeare's play, Julius Caesar, in which the titular character is warned to "beware the Ides of March." Of course, he did not heed that warning and though his wife begged him to stay at home, Caesar was stabbed to death by a line of his peers.
In celebration of this auspicious event, the mansion has decided to celebrate by decking out the dining room like a grand roman hall, the food typical of the roman period - you'll find some very odd things to eat, we guarantee. And each and every one of you is dressed like a roman noble, from your toga down to the leather sandals on your feet.
We'd warn you 'beware', but the mansion has seen fit to strip you of your weapons.
Just in case, of course.
