There's a new face in the DR. The ever elusive Makoto Kyogoku. In rather worn out and blood stained clothes, at that. Though, unlike the other arrivals on his world, he doesn't have thick guards on his limbs and he has scars on his arms from what clearly appear to be bites ( Read more... )

Clean from his own trip to the onsen, Kaito was returning from a visit to his dressing room, a brand new deck of cards flipping nimbly through his fingers. He was grinning widely and almost child-like at his recent discovery of the plethora of magic effects he has access too. He really missed being able tinker around like this, and he was taking the time to familiarize himself with a few old tricks that his beaten up deck couldn't withstand. He was still wearing his thick clothing (clean, this time), but most of his firearms were left downstairs. All he had on him was a pistol, strapped in its holster at his waist ( ... )

Makoto heard movement and stopped, looking around. He didn't see anyone. Had it just been the building. Buildings could make plenty of odd sounds. He took a step forward when he heard another sound.

A click. A familiar one. He had a gun on his person, of course, but he had always been better hand to hand and with the freedom given by Koizumi, he had taken advantage of it. Still, he knew that sound and with no voice...

Makoto ducked down, the bullet passing by his head harmlessly. He quickly turned and dashed down the hallway. An attacker. Alive, but they had to be disarmed IMMEDIATELY.

-- crap! This guy was fast! Having never met Makoto in real life, Kaito had no idea what he was in store for.

He practically jumped out from behind the corner, leveling his pistol out in front of him again. I missed because I was shaking, damn it--! After six months you think I'd be desensitized to this--!

But he wasn't, and in the back of his mind, Kaito had a feeling that, no matter how long he might be fighting zombies for, he would never get used to this. He could take out zombies with no problem whatsoever, but a human... even one that was destined to turn into a zombie...

It all felt wrong, and it always would.

Makoto, however, was NOT going to give Kaito that chance. Makoto stopped in front of Kaito, kicking up to force the gun out of Kaito's hand and to go flying in the air before following through with a fist, stopping right before Kaito's neck, a hard look in his eyes.

"Do not shoot. I mean no harm to you if you mean no harm to me." Just to make sure this guy understood him.

Fortunately for Makoto, Haibara is neither likely to tear out his throat or indeed, swarm him.

No, she is much more interested in sizing up the condition of the newcomer. She's got a fairly good idea of where this one is from, but she doesn't like the look of those bitemarks -- then again, this might be an excellent opportunity to gather some data ...

Makoto felt eyes on him and turned to face Haibara. He blinked. A little girl? Huh, she looked a bit like Hakuba. Or maybe that was just being part foreigner?

"Are you here alone?" He asked, kneeling down to be more level with her, but making sure to check her over. No bite marks or injuries he could see. And she looked healthy, so not likely a small zombie demon child.

Haibara shook her head. At least he didn't seem to recognise her which put her at less of a disadvantage. "No. I've got some friends from my world here too."

"Ah, that's good," Makoto said and paused. Wait a second...

"Your world?"
