He looked at the chocolate, frowning. "Sonoko-neechan...?" The name is VAGUELY familiar, but he's not quite remembering it. "Neesan...can you tell me where we met?"
This Hakuba looks normal as well. Tweed three-piece suit, mildly superior expression, pocket watch. If he somehow seems older than the seventeen years he appears, that might just be because he's a detective.
And while this Conan wasn't exactly 'normal,' he had no reason to believe anything otherwise.
Other than the fact Hakuba is dead.
But he doesn't remember Hakuba at all over the years, having only met him a handful of times.
He looked over at Hakuba and puts on a nice, distressed little kid look. "Niisan, I was in the library. I don't know how I got here. Can you tell me where I am?"
That's quite all right, because this particular "Hakuba" has never met an Edogawa Conan.
"This is a sort of nexus dimension. It's apparently sentient, or has some sort of sophisticated search parameter installed, seeing as how it pulls different versions of the same people from a variety of different parallel universes."

"...really?" He thinks on that for a few moments. "I thought that technology was still a long way aways."
