[If you walk down the second floor corridor towards the grand staircase that leads down into the lobby, you'll notice that someone has appropriated some police tape to erect a makeshift barrier blocking the corridor. If you look over the barrier, you'll notice that something odd has happened to the unoccupied doorways on the left side of the hall.

One of the doors exploded. But until it did that we didn't know they were unstable.

Because I haven't got my shrinking ray to make things smaller without altering them somehow yet ... Agasa-hakase had the same problem when he made things bigger!

I invented it! Well, sort of -- the idea and how to make it was Agasa-hakase, but he never got around to building it and I was annoyed at not being able to reach things so I thought I'd just go ahead and invent it for him but the other me says I'm not allowed it until I've worked out why things keep exploding.
