Guess who gets out of Ukyo's apartment as fast and silently as possible -and for a monkey that's easy- to run away to the forest

[That was one hell of an experiment. Hakkai didn't know they were capable of altering their train of thought to that extent. Knowing people as if he'd know them his whole life, when in reality he knew nothing about them. It was discomforting. That was the least of his problems though.

Hakkai was more concerned with where Goku ran off too. He's was sure that the boy was no exception to this experiment. He wondered if he was okay.

He already checked all of the village. Calling out Goku's name, and to no avail. He saw the doodles in the journal, so he knows Goku is somewhere and next was the forest. Sure Hakkai could have contacted Goku through the journal, but after this kind of manipulation he thought it would be more appropriate to talk to the boy in person.]

[He doesn't want to go back home. He doesn't know where's his home. He just knows that back at Heaven's things weren't as great as here but he had a "family" but it's not complete anymore. And that just yesterday he was in this great place and had a family... But he doesn't anymore. Both families were "fake", both aren't with him anymore.

Why can't he have a family? What is it that he has done that's so wrong that means he can't have a mama or a papa like the other kids?

Hearing Hakkai only makes him shift but he doesn't move or call back. He's not here, Hakkai. Ignore the suspicious leaves falling from the top of a tree, they haven't fell because a monkey shifted in his hideout among the branches. Ignore the gleam of gold among the leaves at the top of the tree, it's not a golden crown attached to a monkey.]

Goku. [When said hints did come into view he didn't make it blatantly obvious that he knew where the boy was.]

You can't expect to solve your problems if you run away from them. I'm sure your friends are concerned for you. I'm worried myself.

[He would be hiding even more, probably... Until he comes out under threats of what would happen if he forced Sanzo to find him himself.]

I don't want to solve anything! There wasn't anything wrong! Everyone says it was wrong and fake but I liked it. I want it back!

That's a broad statement to make. [He hoped Lizze was okay, Hakkai would have to contact her next.]

If you want to stay here, that's perfectly okay. I can't force you to do anything, but you need to realize that not everyone sees with the same light. [Not all of it was fake. Hell. Some of it was probably more real than people could ever realize.]

Let me know when you're ready to come out. [He honestly did not have the tolerance to deal with this, but Hakkai wasn't going to show how much it hurt him either.]

[But he already realizes that, everyone is upset, he's upset too, but he's upset about it being taken, about people being upset, not about it. He didn't feel it as fake or wrong, not even now, he knows things really aren't like that but... Why can't they be like that?

Hakkai... Sounds angry, is he angry with him too? Because he wants it back? Because he left home? He doesn't want him to be angry or upset. He doesn't want anyone to be. Slowly, the kid comes down and peeks at Hakkai from behind the tree.]

[That wasn't the reaction he was hoping for, but it was progress nonetheless.]

[The people he... Abandoned? Did he abandon them? But... He didn't want to, it wasn't his intention... He was sure they would be angry upon waking up, he didn't want them angry with him, everyone was so upset and everything, why wouldn't they be?

He didn't want to abandon them, he didn't think it was that. When people are abandoned it hurts and it becomes very lonely, he knows it. So he never really wanted to do it, ever.]

[He doesn't know what else to say, but it doesn't really matter. Unless Hakkai has anything else to say he will probably see Goku running, back to the village, at top speed. He will go see Ukyo then, he has already kind of promised he would anyway.]
