will you wake up?
Today has been good. I'm feeling a little blue around the edges right now, but soon I go into work and that'll cheer me up. I had no African American History class today, which as you all know, always makes me happy.
So I went to lunch with dad and got to school a little early. This gave me time to go look at the student art exhibit, which I've been wanting to look at. The stuff was really, really, really good. I was a little surprised, and a lot impressed. That and the lecture in art today made me want to paint. Stupid Jeff, he still has my paints... : (
Anyway, I was proud of myself because with all the artists my teacher said today (Impressionists) she kept spelling their names, but I knew how to spell them all because I knew about them, at least a little. I think in order to ensure I get a good grade on the final, and to begin my database of notes for when I teach, I should type up all my notes, starting with this latest section and going backward.
After that I went to the counseling center, got flirted with by the guy working there (O o) and talked to a counselor. She said I was doing well for transferring and may even not have to take math 40 (that would be nice!) I also agreed to cover Ray's shift tonight so I get to close with Denise! Yayy! And Nancy's our pre-closer! Double-yay!
So I had lunch with Denise, and we got lotsa stuff out in the open which felt good. Stuff about Alex and the things going on in my life right now. And Bran muffins are yummy. Anyway, that's about all, I'm gonna go get ready for work, I hope you like the way I broke this up, it was to make it easier to read. <3!!
