I've gotten back into the swing of riding, at least somewhat. Wednesday seems to have become a de facto rest/theater day, though.
Last week I did the sprint clinic on Tuesday, which was mostly basic sprinting technique-- good for a refresher, I suppose, but nothing I hadn't heard before. Wednesday was Little Shop. Thursday I managed an hour in the morning, and then took the lead climbing class at MetroRock in the evening. Fun, and somewhat challenging, but less of a workout since we were mostly practicing clipping and falling and what-not. Friday I did a 2.5 hr/45 mile ride in the morning. Saturday the rain kept me at home most of the day, and familial obligations kept me from riding Sunday morning, but I went climbing for several hours in the afternoon.
This week I did an hour on Monday, two hours and a sprint workout on Tuesday (seven 39x19 high cadence sprints, five or six 53x14/13, and maybe twenty minutes of tempo at about 175 bpm). Wednesday was another day off (Shakespeare in Hollywood), Thursday was an hour and a half, including five hill climbs near the Arlington water tower.
And tonight I'm going climbing again. Hopefully the rain will hold off and I can get out the door early enough tomorrow to get out to Bedford for the club ride. That would make for a good week, especially if I can get in some form of workout on Sunday. (Probably climbing again if the rain rolls in as expected, sigh...)
