So yeah... about that updating thing
So much for having a reliable chronicle of my time as a teacher. Let me summarize...
HOLY CRAP this is hard. It's almost the end of the first semester and I'm sick of my subject, sick of the administrators, really sick of the parents, and even sick of a few of my students. Today I got to sit in on a parent conference in which the mother proceeded to tell me and the principal how worthless her son was (and the sad thing was, I couldn't rebut that). He gave up on himself a long time ago. I keep thinking that if I were a better teacher maybe I could have gotten to him.
*Sigh* But next semester has got to be better. I finally get to teach something I want in addition to something I feel barely adequate for. (Have been teaching 3 sections of earth/environmental sci this semester, will teach 2 sections of earth/environmental and one section of physics in January.)
Other than that... yeah. I'll get back to update here more often. Promise.
