SERIOUSLY, I keep planning to start posting more regularly and, like, write about real life and stuff.
Then real life keeps happening.
So, today: one-liners.
I really love those single lines in a song that just jump out and grab you by the throat, every time. All on their own.
Two of mine:
Oh, I remember when first we kissed
it was nothing at all
like a wrecking ball

(and everybody knows I love this one)
she stands there in her doorway smoothing out her dress
and says 'this life is a thump-ripe melon,
so sweet and such a mess'
