Watch Leni Riefenstahl and Lost in Translation
My only Oscar notes are thus:
1. Watch anything by or about Leni Riefenstahl. The documentary The Wonderful Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl is a truly wonderful document of a woman who was a true individual and produced some truly beautiful film.
2. If you haven't seen Lost in Translation, rent it and give it a shot. I really loved it; I know not everyone will have that reaction, but I'm sure everyone can find something in it they love.
In other news, my mix CD for March is called "Shut the **** Up!!! (i'm trying to sleep)". It's a lot of quiet music, good for relaxing and sleeping. Colin gets the first copy, along with his overdue February CD.
