A Few Random Things - Well, What Did You Expect?
A few of you may recall that I own an iPod that stopped working last fall, but I held onto it anyway. I brought the dead iPod with me to CA, and my friend Janice fixed it! So, finally, I have an iPod! :dances: <(^w^<) (>^w^)> We've both agreed that this wonderful act, as well as the 2+ pages of Aang/Zuko sketches she's made me, is more than enough

Remember the Tales of Ba Sing Sang (yes I know I spelled it wrong probably) episode where they have the Zuko dating some random Jen girl (& the fan girls are supposed to insert themselves their)?
There was a very special moral to the episode: Fan girls, dating or attempting a relationship with Zuko will not happen/succeed--the real ending of Avatar is a LIE (like the cake)! Attempt kissing Zuko & he will try to kiss back, but back away & FLEE!! Because it is complicated. Enter next scene: Zuko storms into a room and slams the screen doors, but as my brother points out: that's a closet! Zuko is still in the closet. Because he secretly doesn't know it BUT LOOK AT THE AANG ZUKO SUBTEXT THROUGHOUT THE SERIES (the stalking, possessiveness, saving, repeated stalking, obsession, belief Aang is his or no one [when he sends a bounty hunter after him], becoming Aang's teacher, & finally becoming close friends)!! Also, I do not think it is coincidence both act loving towards Katara at some points--neither really wants her, they just think they do b/c neither wants the other one to be with her--that is reallly a lie that the producers create to hide the real love b/c they both need to come out the closet but Nickelodeon must restrict them, maybe?!
And that ends my Avatar rant about the other day (sparked by your mention Aang/Zuko sketches) ;)...

Don't forget about how possessive Katara gets when Zuko joins the party, lol. She's afraid he'll steal him!
On the final episode: Even though Mike and Bryan shipped Aang and Katara from day one, and it was about as canon as it could get by the last episode, they still provided Zukaang subtext at the end and that made me happy. (Read: Aang and Zuko are two-timing their girls, lol)
My solution to the crazy shipping wars is this - Zutaraang! Whenever someone asks me which one I prefer, I answer "Yes!" XD
