I have no idea how this happened. I thought about maybe doing a John & Dean vid following my previous post, but yesterday on the drive home I listened to this beautiful song and it just screamed "Dean!". Next thing I know, I'm crying and this happened.

Thank you so much, dear! It took several hours of watching Dean getting hurt over and over and over again (and some Kleenex). It fits him so well I can't believe I didn't think of it earlier, It's one of my favorite songs by K's Choice. When I realized Dean's dying words were mirroring John's it broke my heart all over again. His last thought was to give Sam what John gave him by saying it and thinking of them both, but Sam would probably never know it.

Thank you! It's such a beautiful song, I imagine that even if it's a bit too chick-flick for Dean and wasn't recorded in the seventies even he might like it. :)

YOU DID IT AND IT'S AWESOME! Well done, it is an amazing vid, I love how you matched the clips to the song lyrics, I'd never heard the song before but it was just so perfect. And you included John! That's when my stiff upper lip crumbled and here I am crying over Dean AGAIN!!

I can't believe you haven't done a fanvid for 10 years! This was so good and yes, I agree that fading to black at the end would have been cool, bit otherwise I think it was well edited and really captured Dean's tragic journey through S9. Loved it so much! :)

Thank you so much darling! I'm glad you liked it. I just had to include him, I couldn't find any GIFs comparing the two moments and it feels like the very essence of Dean captured in one small sentence.
I don't do much editing, my desktop computer can't handle it and editing on a 13" laptop with very little free space is not a fun experience, but I did fix the ending, It drove me crazy and I needed to do a re-upload anyway for people who got a geo-block from YouTube

By the way, remember when I said that knowing how to edit technically doesn't make you a good vidder? You should check out secretlytodream's vids and especially her latest for S9 http://graphicinmotion.livejournal.com/45896.html. I think it explains the difference between editing some clips together and creating art. It's amazing.

Thanks for the link, that was an awesome vid, perfectly captured S9 and was beautifully done. But you shouldn't put your vid down, I can see the difference between the two, but I thought yours was great too and I preferred the song on your one!

Thank you, dear! I'm not putting it down, just wanted to share a perfect example to what I meant. :) I wish I could edit like that, or write like some of my favorite writers, but even the perfectionist in me can rest eventually when I remind her it's just for fun. :)
