When you break up with someone and say, "let's just be friends," usually what you really mean is, "let's never see each other again." Well at least that's what I meant when I said it. Apparently I need to be more straight-forward when I break up with people. It's not a game. It's life. You date someone for a while, get to know that person, maybe get a little serious, but eventually most romantic relationships come to an end. Even those who get married don't last very long. The divorce rate in this country is sky-high. I'm still too young for marriage. But some may disagree. Right now, I am just getting a feel for what it's like to be in a serious relationship. That means I don't want to be tied down to one person for too long, until I'm sure that that's who I want to be with.
