... no, there is too much. Let me sum up..."
- Pennsylvania rocked. Moira was excellent on the ride there and back, it ended up being less expensive that I had budgeted for, so I even brought me home a crafty door thingy from Amish country. I hope to go again sometime this fall, so if there's anyone who want to abscond to the Hershey area for a weekend, just let me know.
- My high school reunion ... happened. It was fun, annoying, freaking weird, and then got freaking awesome. Much to my joy and rapture, Scott actually dances and I had the best time ever with him. And in the emotional rollercoaster of that evening, I became liberated from giving a flying rats ass about anyone from high school or anything they might think about me. In the end, it was a great night. Maybe in another 10 years nostalgia will find me doing it all over again. For now? DONE.
- Work is better. The pace is slower, and other than the anticipated daily fires that keep me on my toes, I'm kind of bored. It's a nice feeling for a change. I won't get used to it though -- this will probably be my only down time until the winter holidays.
- Magestry is imminient. I have to get my plot reports in from the last one, write the things that need written, get the newsletter out the door as quickly as possible on Friday morning, and try my best to be the only staff person not freaking out about the deadlines. ::deep cleansing sigh::
- I find out tomorrow whether or not I have Lyme or if there's something else weird going on with my joints. Yay. For those of you who got to feel it, my knee is no longer hot or swollen, so either the meds are working or whatever happened has passed. Again, I'll know tomorrow.
- This weekend is a fun trip to Maine with Moira (and a certain sexy someone who I'm not going to name.) We're going to my company's summer picnic, shopping at the outlets, and taking Moira to the butterfly farm in MA. I'm excited. My "restless spirit" (as my mother likes to call it) is appeased.
Well. Life is good. The kid is good. ... There was more but I can't remember what else I was going to report on... oh, well. Back to working.
