Poor Hermie!
I few months back I picked up a couple of hermit crabs. (Only type of pet I can handle at this point). The other morning I woke up and one of the was outside of his shell and he had shed his skin. I knew they moulted, but I felt so bad for the poor thing. He was just hanging out in the water bowl looked scared and sad.
He found himself a new, bigger shell now and he is resting comfortably. My poor little hermit crab certainly seems much happier now. :)
