(no subject)
Hello all.
So I'm lying in bed with a heating pad on my lower back (cause it hurts!) and my laptop watching the opening monologue of David Letterman. Howard Stern and Iggy Pop are on tonight - really of no interest to me. I lead kind of a dull life don't I?
So this weekend was awesome. Forever Plaid opened this past Friday to WONDERFUL audiences. We got standing ovations all three nights. So awesome! I really didn't think that it was going to come off as well as it did. People really like it.
You know - something hit me today. Hair. Why is it that once it leaves the body it is the most disgusting thing? When it's on our head it's beautiful and people fuss over it. We touch it and groom it. We caress it. We admire it on others... But once it lands on a piece of our food or we have to pull it out of our sink trap it is the most disgusting thing in the world. Why?
