Hi Monica! I hope this is still the same email address. I wanted to write to say hello and see how you are doing.
Your Dad has told me that you will be moving here just before school starts. I know it will be tough on you to move away from El Paso and I know you've tried everything in your power to work it out over there. I hope we can make it a good transition for you. You are such a neat kid. I'm sure you will quickly make friends at Ellison and fit in too. We will do our best to make things good for you here in Killeen. If there's something you have concerns about, please just be open and we can talk about it.
As for me, I am thrilled to have you come here. It will be nice having you around for longer than a week or two! Your Dad is also looking forward to your move.
Until Vincent gets back or we have time to add on a room or figure out how we're going to arrange things, I think you'll be taking over his room.
Do you want me to get anything in particular for you in the way of decorating for that room? Do you want to just wait and decorate it when you get here? I was going to make it more girl-friendly but then I thought you might want to do that yourself after you arrive in Killeen.
I know most of your friends graduated last year but I wasn't sure if you would be leaving a boyfriend behind in El Paso. Are you seeing anyone right now?
