After 19 years, I have made my peace with the city busses. I hated the M86 all through high school. It was ridiculously slow, and having to wait on the windiest corner in the city for up to an hour in a skirt (required by school), drove me to give up and walk across Central Park for my last two years of school. The bus was always way too slow, or pulling away just as I reached the stop.
Now, the bus' slowness is great. It's like the bus is saying, "Really, is it that bad of you're 15 minutes late? Chill out, look out the window." The bus is so right. I guess most people I know have pot; I have the bus. So MTA, i forgive you for the busses. . . but not for when I broke my face on the subway steps, or raising the fare to $2.
I found a bunch of Police and Joan Jett records in the trash today. Looking at Sting annoys me. Speaking of annoying, mixing will be done Sunday.
