PARTY NIGHT!
so.. brown, christ, mar and i decide that since we are such hard workers 40 hours a week for the man, that we deserve this monday holiday. therefore, we should celebrate it accordingly with a a trip to sway last night.
the night starts out innocently enough, drinking at lulu's and giggling about whats behind the curtain (inside joke). we then move it to cake shop where we indulge in cupcakes, tea, and more hilarity. then we decide its time to get our sway on.
we get to sway and its freezing. we are waiting in line, googling the addy on our phone just to be sure we are in the right spot and developing frost bite. then some lady comes out and informs us all that its promoters night only and no one is allowed in unless they are on the list. fuuuuuuuuck. the one sunday that we dont have to work in the morning has to be promoters night. wtf?!
so we move on to another bar that used to be cool on sundays years ago, but decide that we should go and make it cool again. upon arrival from the $10 cab ride, it is closed. we then proceed to black and white which is down the street and our last resort for some warmth. as we walk there this huge gust of wind tries carrying us to another country kinda like on super mario three. mar, brown and i run behing a building trying to escape this force of nature. but then realize we will have to face it eventually.
black and white sucks. the only interesting thing about it is that wiz kid is above it. i plan on how to break in upstairs to live out some college hormonal fantasies, while everyone pees. and we decide to call it a night.
BUT not before trying to drink it up in brooklyn first! we hit u-po, hoping rondi's there to hook us up and no shes not. ben is there so we sit and chat and watch nerds humiliate themselves with dance moves. we then decide that to make this horrible night complete we should stop at royal oak, which is always a plan for ensuring failure (except drunk sunday). this concludes our night of debauchary.
