A Perfect Recap
Yea
so it is finally time for me to update. It has been so long. I don't
even know if I updated in the month of April. Must be those April
showers- they make my arthritis act up? I dunno does that actually
happen or is it something that i just totally made up. Either is a
possibility. So anyways on to more exciting things even though
arthritis is hard to top and i can't believe i just wrote an entire
paragraph on it.
So in recap from somewhere.....
Walk for Hunger was awesome. Walked all 20 miles with Kim. I can't believe we made it without killing each other. Oh well it was a good time except for when a certain someone chose me over a portapotty (which kim thought was hilarious)
NHS is coming up woot for that.
SADD is up again. Happy to be the VP and way involved.
Marta is home! She is a big oaf but so much fun.
But.... the best time was prom. UUHHH i wish it was a million times longer that it actually seemed. The whole working up to it part was stressful and busy. Had some tux issues including changing the color and forgetting to pick it up. But it all worked out. Then i had to do all the SADD prom favor stuff. Plus do the whole boy thing and get the girl a corsage. Mucho deniro. Did i just say a lot of money or a lot of Robert DeNiro? Who knows. But eventually it all worked out
So i got ready. I looked rather dashing if i say so myself. But, i didn't look anywhere near as good as Nicole. AHHH she looked so pretty in her amazing dress. That corsage put her over the top. Beautiful flowers for such a beautiful date *wink*. We are quite the good looking pair. I would say couple but then there are so many people convinced we are going out and that wouldn't be fair to them. So ya we were the hottest duo around. Then Casey and Aly came over for pictures. After some good ol' family fun with the Terps, the Eckarts, and the Mazzawis we all piled into Casey's dad's car cuz we were too cheap for a limo and too legal for me to drive. It wasn't bad.
So we get there and sit at our table. Ya table 11. We meet Em's non-chinese date and Val's non-chinese date. They were nice guys, we all liked them. Too bad we didn't see all four of them all night except for dinner.Yep so we ate, socialized, danced a little. It had a slow start. The whole set up was beautiful. Way to go prom committee. Kudos to you. FYI i love those Kudos bars. Moving on, then there was the court stuff. I was soooo happy that Swimmer was prom queen and Sean was King, very cute. Even better was Jaime being a member of the court. I was thrilled for her. Then we all got up and things picked up a little bit. I learned my only dance moves are marching techniques. Yet i am the one person most unfit for the army. Except for a few people, one of which include a portapotty chooser lol. Yep and so Ed was insane out there might i say. He was tearin it up and i wish i could come close to being as smooth as him out there. Oh well i still had fun. Kim was pretty crazy out there too on the dance floor with her moves and being all gussied up. Michelle taught me a little but nothing too great- she looked really pretty in her black and white dress. We had some fun out there on the dance floor. Oh ya Dan and Christy were the cutest couple there hah. Anywho, the night was fun for then but still a little slow.
Then I don't know what happened but it picked up probably because i let go of my nerves and just began to dance like a maniac for like the last half hour. Nicole and I had so much fun. I don't think it is normal to have this much fun. The last song was so perfect. We sang at the top of our lungs while goin in a circle. Everyone was staring. We were too into it the song to care. It was such a perfect moment. Almost as perfect as after the prom. Besides going to the pretty lame post prom which was mediocre at best, Nicole and I went back to my house. We had a picnic outside in the dark with our only light being candlelight. Music. Good Food Store. So perfect. So sketchy (def. a sketchy after prom activity for two people who are just friends hahaha). Then we pretty much just fell asleep. Very perfect night. Why can't i sleep that well on every night of the year?
