So to those who know anything about it and/or those who care:
I'm going to get a new phone. I have been with T-Mobile for almost six years now and have never had a serious complaint to lodge against them. I like the service I get, the coverage, and I haven't gotten much hassle as it relates to billing and costs. However, I'm currently out of contract with them and free to go elsewhere if I'm presented with the opportunity. That being said, I've recently found a couple of phones that would appear to satisfy my interests, both of which are through T-Mobile, which would allow me to get what I understand to be $10 off any plan I get due to my long-standing relationship with them.
The two phones, the Samsung Gravity and Samsung Behold, being released November 17 and November 10, respectively, appear to be pretty fancy.
Samsung GravityI'm not quite convinced yet that I need to move into the world of smartphone, and my interests primarily lie in easy text/email/messaging. From what I can tell the Gravity would give me that without pushing me to a lot of features I may not necessarily need. I also find the gray/lime combination to be quite tasty. From what I can tell, I could get the Gravity, with my current plan, for $50 and a $10/month decrease on my plan rate.
Samsung BeholdI am slightly drawn to the smartphone appeal. It looks pretty and I'm sure at some point I could find a way to use the included features. The Behold will be on T-Mobile's 3G network, which I haven't done any research into the apparent quality or lack thereof, and would cost me $150 if I renew my contract with T-Mobile.
So, if anyone knows anything about either of these phones, or has something else to suggest, feel free to let me know. I'm a little excited for new gadgets, but I think this one deserves some thinkin'.
