Well, I was washed out today. Figuratively. My client canceled classes yesterday because of the impending storm/hurricane. So I worked all morning from my hotel room, honoring Houston's safety recommendations and my client's wishes. My room flooded.
Yep, the ninth floor--Club Floor! The window seal on the room next to me broke, and flooded the room. It crept under my wall and formed a moat around my bed. The hotel switched me to new room, but it was double bed and I had paid for a King. It also was on facing the busy highway.
They then moved me to a Junior Suite, It had leaked too, but just by the window. So, I said I would tolerate it in return for free lunch from room service.
Oh well. Now I have to figure out how to cram 3 days of a Project Management Class in to two days. Normally not too big of a problem except for this class counts as continuing education credits and needs to be 21 hours long at the shortest.
