life in a nutshell ...
so i haven't blogged in awhile ... what's been going on in jess land?!?
so brandon left DelVal ... we're operating on 3 AC's but doing really well. we're all overworked and drained already because we haven't had a break the last month but it's not awful. i'm in charge of judicials ... what i've wanted all year so that's good. it's all about managing things ... i'm going to be ridiculously organized this semester ... i'm going to need to be.
i met a boy ... he's awesome. we have a lot in common. he's just chill and makes me smile. it's nice to have those butterflies in the stomach again. everything feels so easy with him ... no pressure really. so bad thing we're both traveling the next 2 weeks ... good news we have another date on valentines day of all days. we're going to the flyers! so my first flyers game ... and the first date i've had on valentines day since freshmen year in college. crazy. so yeah had a great first date on saturday. so much fun. juno is a great movie ... i reccomend watching it immediatly if you haven't.
so the next few weeks are going to be shit crazy! wrapping up work and then travel. i have 20 judicials approx to fit in before wednesday. i also need to get my new state id. i have to get the crown for my tooth wednesday afternoon. blah to dental work!
thursday amber and i are going on the ski trip i won from the radio station. party like rockstars :0) i hope not to injure myself. then friday i'm heading to VA to meet up with tom and the girls for a long weekend. they're nice enough to put me up while they move so i can catch my plane to florida out of dulles. so an exciting weekend with my wonderful cousins ... and i get to meet baby kate!
tuesday i fly out to florida for ASJA. need to get my presentation in order and get all my volunteer stuff together. we'll see how that all comes together ... i'm excited and nervous. I'm really looking forward to being on the beaches of Clearwater in February. got new bathing suits to enjoy the beach and hot tub the hotel has to offer :0)
so i come back the 10th ... have off the 11th and back to work on the 12th as well as duty - blah! but then going to see the flyers on valentines day :0) how excited am i?!? so true i am stressed at work ... but i'm having some positive rewards coming up. just counting down now :0)
