Jimmy Fund Walk
Hey FList (and visitors),
As many of you know, my family lost a remarkable woman to cancer almost two months ago. In honor of her and her love of walking, I am participating in the 21st annual Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai. Please help support our team in finding a cure for cancer. I know a lot of you don't have a lot of money to spare, but please remember that no donation is too small and every penny helps. My family and I truly appreciate any effort you can make.
The money raised by this event will help the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute beat cancer. On Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009 (the day after my super awesome graduation party!), I will join more than 8,000 walkers with a fundraising goal of $6.6 million to help find better ways to treat and prevent cancer in children and adults.
