Wow! This is turning out to be a really interesting casefic, and I love all the details, and how you've showcased everyone's part in the investigative process.

I laughed out loud when Tony, Abby and Jim all responded in unison to Gibbs' exasperated demand - "Who is running this investigation, anyway?" with the resounding answer ~ "Blair!" That was perfect.

Enjoyed that interlude at Alfredo's, especially Tony gracious stop to thank the chef and make friends with Papa Alfredo and Mama Alfredo. That was sweet, as was Gibbs' respectful treatment of Mama Alfredo.

I was also amused and impressed by Tom Morrow's 'handling' of Gibbs, and truth be told, he is my favorite NCIS Director, of all the ones we've seen thus far.

I'm guessing someone at the BPD tried to make points with the press and prematurely leaked info on the investigation that is going to have Gibbs and company up in arms come tomorrow morning. It really better not have been Bunka, or the man just might be the cause of another investigation, his own murder. Oh boy, that isn't good at all.

Thank you very much for the update, and will be looking forward to more of the story.
