Went out after work to local gay bar...fun was had...too much. It just so happened, when I knew I could no longer drive, text message or go anywhere after the event....my phone was buzzing, "missed call and voicemail". Shell called, driving thru Richmond in a bit and have dinner? OMG, I was two sheets to the wind, so friend of mine txt'd her back with my phone and let her know I was at a bar, drunk. Great, just great :(
Doyle came into Richmond and picked me up when I was done. Saturday was laid back with nothing really going on. Sunday was grocery shopping and getting my car (since I had left it downtown). Then home to watch some TV (Juno was on and I watched it...it was okay).
We (at work) were told there will be lay-offs in April UNLESS budget cuts serve as enough of a buffer. I am taking on more duties and about to start learning Microsoft Access (if I can find a really good teaching book). Job security....not that I need extra right now, but every little bit helps?
