I enjoyed GoF. So did Alex, though she isn't the type of kid to say much about it. It was very funny - IMO it captured the humour better than any of the other movies. I think I'm just starting to realize how unpopular PoA was with some fans, now that I've read some of the reviews comparing the two movies. The graveyard scene was more horrible than I had imagined it from my reading, but in a good way. I didn't want the horror of Cedric's death and the gruesome events that followed to seem cartoony and silly. In some ways, that stupid ugly hairless werewolf really made the ending of PoA seem a bit dumb. (See? I'm comparing them, too.)
I thought the Ron/Hermione stuff was underplayed, but I was pleased that Neville was given something to do besides looking like a helpless moron.
I am hoping that someday the series will be made into a really excellent mini-series.
I can hardly wait to see LWW in the theatres. I am taking the whole family. It looks like something the kids will love.
