I expected the turnout for us to totally suck but I still couldn't help but feel disappointed. To make matters worse the 2nd band didn't show which meant we had to go on nearly an hour earlier than I advertised. Due to that I messaged/texted a handful of individuals stating if they were planning on arriving to the venue a little before ten then don't bother coming. We would have finished by then.
We sounded great(sound quality at Fat Baby is rather awesome)but it was hard for me to shift into goofball mode because I was kind of annoyed about having to take the stage earlier than planned. I didn't really enjoy myself. I more than made up for it afterwards at Happy Endings, though. Frankie of the Funeral Crashers was scheduled to spin some tunes there so Dee then moi made our way over where we rocked out to Fad Gadget, Curve, Bauhaus, Goldfrapp, Severed Heads, etc. Hilary joined us later and took a series of really cool flash-less pictures with her phone. I threw in the towel at 1:30 AM.
