Episode 3: Ignorant as she is of so many important things regarding Homura, Mami views the other girl only with deep dislike and a lingering, bitter hurt. Homura is a cold and aloof mystery that has repeatedly spurned Mami's offers of partnership (if not also friendship) and interfered with Mami's business of persuading Madoka and Sayaka to contract with Kyuubey. As Mami was doing that partly to gain a magical girl partner and thus not be so alone, Homura's meddling was doubly infuriating. Homura has never, in this timeline, tried to satisfactorily explain her actions to Mami, leaving the other with little choice but to assume the worst of her. This has resulted in Mami flat-out distrusting the other girl and seeing her as both an annoyance and a obstacle. She meant it when she said she'd kill Homura, and could be pushed to do so under the right circumstances.
Post-Death: Depending on how much Mami's learned of the events that have transpired after her demise, she'll either remain just as bitter toward Homura or feel grudgingly indebted to her for saving Madoka and Sayaka from Charlotte.
