I exercise control and supervision over the entire executive branch and my countersignature is required for all laws and Cabinet orders. I personally appoint all Cabinet ministers, can dismiss them at any time. I am commander in chief of the Japanese Armed Forces... I am also responsible for appointing all judges of the Supreme Court and high priests of the Church.

My country is peaceful. It sounds more demanding than it is.

Old-fashioned hard work.

It must have been hard work in itself to become Emperor when not of royal status.
