Sexy Zone Japan Tour 2013 横浜アリーナ (2013.05.06 12:00)
Small report of Sexy Zone at Yokohama Arena, 6th of May! I went to the 12pm show.
It's not so detailed, but there will most likely be DVD from either this show, or the show later the same day.
Also this is more or less all from memory, so there might be mistakes in it. I'd like to think it's at least 95% correct, though.
At the very start, Kento, Fuma and Shori showed up, one after one, at the main stage, while Marius and Sou came out running along the arena. While everyone focused on them, the three older members got onto the lifts in the back of the main stage (that looked more like something taken from an amusement park), and they sang Sexy Zone on top of there, while Marius and Sou danced on the second stage.
Sexy Zone was followed by Sexy Summer ni yuki ga furu, during which they were all down on the stage, and the lifts in the back were lit up with green and red. The talk parts in the middle of the song;
Kento: Today, I won't look at anything but all of you!
Fuma: I'll never let you go!
Sou: Yokohama! Let's have fun today! (横浜ー! 今日一日よろしく!, so not a literate translation)
Marius: I love you! (in English)
Shori: Yokohama is the best!
Lady Diamond kicked off, and everyone in the whole arena danced along with the choreography. For Suki sugite they ran around the arena, stopping during the chorus where they danced (very enthusiastically). Especially Kento was moving his hands at about double the pace, haha. It was followed by With you, after which they sang I see the light at the main stage. When it finished they left the stage.
Next up was BAD BOYS, for which they wore the same clothes as in the performances on TV. It was a pretty impressive performance, complete with flame throwers. Marius and Sou came out in the end, wearing full red costumes, and they performed IF YOU WANNA DANCE in the middle of the arena, on the parts of the stage that go up. That whole song was basically exactly like they performed it in January at the new year concerts.
When that ended, they all left the stage, and back out came Kento, with a bunch of juniors.
Kento: "When I say "Candy~" I want you to say "LOVE KENTY", okay? ... This is really embarrassing." He then called up Jinguji Yuta, to help him demonstrate. "Candy~"
Jinguji: "Love Kenty..." (quietly)
Kento: "No, louder. Candy~"
Jinguji: "LOVE KENTY!" Then he started laughing.
Kento: "Yes! Everyone needs to say it in a loud voice, just like Jinguji just did!"
I'm pretty sure you've all seen Kento perform CANDY by now, so there's not much more to say about it.
So CANDY ended, and instead Shori came out on stage, wearing a yellow sparkling outfit, to sing his solo song. It is apparently named Onaji sora no shita, which I can't confirm, but according to the Japanese fans, that's the name.
Next came Don't stop sexy boyz, where the kids were on the middle stage, or running aroung the arena. As it ended, all five of the members got together at the main stage, along with a couple of juniors.
Marius: "Let's play with these cameras!"
He, Sou and Jinguji took one camera each, and played around with them while Kento, Fuma and Shori started singing Bayside elegy. I was very glad they performed it, since they didn't when I saw them in January. They performed it on/with chairs, Fuma to the left filmed by Sou, Shori in the middle filmed by Marius and Kento to the right filmed by Jinguji (I think). Fuma was stripping for the camera, Shori wasn't doing anything special in particular, and Kento was hip thrusting. When it ended, Shori said the next song was one he had written the lyrics for. Of course, Kimi no tame boku ga iru, which was followed by 100% Yuuki. It ended as they got to the main stage again, and it was time for MC.
They started out asking Marius about his pants. Then apologized for that, especially since it was the last day of the tour and everything.
Marius: "But even if the concerts end, Sexy Zone will forever be in your hearts."
Shori: "That's what you were practicing backstage, right?"
Sou: "So that's what it was for."
Marius: "You'll always be able to find us in the deepest part of your heart."
He then switched the topic to the voice acting he has done for Santrio Puroland, and gave the members tickets to it.
Marius: "Fuma has a sister, so he gets two tickets."
Fuma: "We are three siblings, though."
Shori: "In my family we're four..."
Kento: "Good thing I'm the only one! ♪"
Shori put the ticket in the chest pocket of his outfit. "This is the only place I can put it."
Marius: "Don't leave it like that when you wash it!"
Shori: "I won't, haha."
Kento: "I'll put mine in this bag." He took out a bag, with Sexy Zone printed on them. They explained that it was a live-limited bag, that contains postcards (not posters, as Marius first said by mistake, haha), and they had to make new ones since they had sold out.
Shori: "Fuma, what are you using your bag for?"
Fuma: "As my school bag for university. At the back of it there's just text prints, so my friends aren't decreasing either."
From there they went on to talk about the upcoming Hey! Say! JUMP concerts, to which Fuma commented about how it will turn to Johnny's World #2 since Sexy Zone and ABC-Z will all be there as well.
Then onto the Crea concerts Marius and Sou are doing, how they might sing Bonnie Butterfly, and all of a sudden Kento says he wish he could do Crea concerts as well.
They also talked about Kasukana kanojo, despite "No Sexy Zone members are actually in it!!".
Just like at the new year concerts in January, the MC turned into Namae no nai omoi. Kento started out alone on stage, and left when Fuma started singing. Halfway through, it switched to Kimi to... Milky way, with Kento on the piano, and the rest of them not getting off the main stage either.
The older three left the stage again, and in their place a bunch of juniors came out! Junior corner, a medley during which they performed;
Sakura Girl (NEWS), Kaze ni notte (Ya-Ya-yah), MUSIC FOR THE PEOPLE (V6), BEAT YOUR HEART (V6) and Dancin' in the Secret (NEWS). In the last song, Marius and Sou danced and sang in front of the juniors!
It finished, and out came Kento, Fuma and Sou, wearing the outfits they wore in the PV for Real Sexy!, which was the next song. Every penlight in the arena seemed to be held by someone that knew the choreography, because everyone was moving together!
After Real Sexy! they sang WE CAN BE ONE, then Knock!Knock!Knock!, running around the arena. Towards the end Fuma disappeared, and as it ended the arena was turned dark. On the main stage juniors moved with lit-up balls and staffs, and all of a sudden Fuma came up in the middle. His solo is a really cool song, probably called Fake, but like with Shori's, I can't confirm it. It was an impressive performance with a lot of dance.
The following song was Just ima shika nai, which they only sang half of before they switched to Kanzen my way. At the end they got back at the main stage, and Fuma, Kento and Shori got up onto the lifts again, and they sang Kyou wa arigatou for the end of the concert. Shori thanked everyone for coming, and they all left the arena.
Until it was time for encore, and they came out, asked if we wanted to have some more fun, and started singing Kaze wo kitte!
Sou had the shushu from the tour goods in his fringe, haha. Kento, Fuma and Shori went past the first rows of the stand blocks, touched people's hands etc. They then went up on the second floor blocks, went past in the carts pushed by staff, then went back down to the arena where they threw their sign balls. Marius and Sou were in carts on the arena floor, and walking around the stage, along with Tottsu and Tsukada!
The encore ended with High!! High!! People, and Tsukada said the concert had been really fun!
They once again thanked everyone before they got off stage, and had everyone shout their group name!
And then they came up once again, to sing Real Sexy! one more time. They said goodbye for the final time, and left the stage all together.
