WTF. Why in God's dumb little green world would the House be voting on the war... in such haste.
My history teacher and I talked a couple of days ago... according to some first hand facts he received in New York City at the UN, the war and progression of Iraq is actually going really well. Schools being built, hospitals running well, security forces comming along, and ect.
Now the irony: The democrats don't want Bush's approval to go up so they smear the Iraq situation. The media goes along with this because it's the better story.
The republicans won't admit things are going so well because it would be justification to leave Iraq.
Sooo... ummmm... WHAT THE HELL?!
Truth should be... The war is over. The rebuilding of Iraq is going along smoothly. Leave Iraq with a minimal American presence and bring men and women home. Bush wins, the democrats win, and we all win because we can start focusing on domestic America.
