Have to say that I have never heard ice crack but it sounds enchanting. Thanks so much for this. This is my comfort food. Amazed you were able to write with your Migraine and cough. Please take care.

Re: the sound of the ice cracking - it really is an amazing sound, like spidering glass.I have a parabolic mike but I won't be able to record it till the next winter, lol.
