Well, I made it through the first week back to school. It's going to be one heck of a busy semester this time, as I'm taking 17 hours. I only had a week and two weekends for summer break as well because of summer classes. Eh. anyhow, at least I got some College credits. My classes are as follows:
- Business Calculus
- Microbiology + Lab
- Animal Behavior
- Intro to Visual Art
- Intro to Theatre
- World Civ II
My classes seem to be going alright so far. I just got two of my books in the mail yesterday so I can start studying now. Paid 5 dollars for the math book and like 40 for a history book, a savings of 80 for the Calculus book, and 40 for the History. Still awaiting the arrival of the Microbiology book and Lab Manual.. Not buying books for any of the other classes because I don't need them. If I had bought New books with the latest editions for all my classes, I would have spent over 700 dollars. Buying Used, and in a few cases Old editions, saved me over 500 dollars, as I spent less than 200 on books this time. Hell, the Microbiology lecture book normally retails at 150$ !!!! I scored it for 70 online. I dunno, just proud of myself for saving money for once. I should do that more often.
