Camp Liberty: Day 1
I am safe.
I am Camp Liberty, Baghdad. We arrived at base around noon local time, 4am EST (I think we are 8 hours ahead of Hereford time...).
Internet access is limited and slow, phones are sparse, and the base is the largest in country, but we are being taken well care of.
I will not have an address until I receive my base assignment, which won't be for atleast 2-3 weeks.
Expect very slow responses to e-mails.
I hope to update again tomorrow, but don't hold your breath.
I miss you all...
