Not much has happened since my last post, bar me endeavouring to do my dissertation and go out to many comedy nights. I think the research part of my dissertation is almost done, just need to hear back from a few local authority planners. I've done 23 out of 42 authorities, does that sound about right? I could do them all, but the ones I haven't done don't have the kind of strategy I'm studying, so could be a bit pointless. Any thoughts??
Now I just have to write up, altering my literature review quite a bit to fit with my 'new direction'.
Anyway, the main point of this is that I'm going to move to the city centre on 1st September, but I've no idea how to go about it. Normally I've gone direct to the landlord through Manchester Student Homes, so going to agencies is a new thing for me. What do they want, how much will I pay, which is best, what danger signs do I need to spot, when should I start looking??? I'm clueless! Any advice would be fantastic!
