The question is still haunting me, three days after watching my dear Rudi breath her last. 14 years 1 shot of valium and an OD of anesthetics and its all over, all the times we shared, all the squirrels we chased, its all gone. I can't shake the look in her eyes though, although they thought it was the right thing as soon as the valium caused her to slump over she seemed to know that we had somehow betrayed her. Dogs love unconditionally.
