Went out with friends again last night. Started the afternoon with a few hours at the pool hall where we each tried to show off those hard learned skills we acquired those drunken college nights. After we had each won some and lost some, we headed over to Applebees for supper. All you can eat ribs night was pretty mad; although I was slightly annoyed that the Sprite I ordered was more expensive than the rootbeer my friend had. We had originally intended to go to the bowling alley after supper, but it wasn't quite late enough for their special price, so we decided to fit in a movie while we waited. We headed over to Pix's house and watched X2. The movie was insane, with incredible special effects and action sequences. Because the movie ended at 1130, no one made the effort to suggest that we head over to the bowling alley; I suppose it was a bit late to start a game. So instead, we sat down for another exciting movie. I had never known, many of us present were fanatics of Mel Brooks films. So Ryan whips out his Spaceballs DVD and put it in. Although absolutely hilarious, a few of us had fallen asleep, awaking occasionally to the sounds of the movie.
