Andy comes home tomorrow! :) Kinda pretty excited. I talked to him today on the phone for the first time in about 3 days..haha we've been playing "talk to each others voice mails" because he has been working from 4pm-2am and usually i am at work or sleeping by the time he is gets up or goes to bed.
He said he could have came home tonight but he had to stay because the person who rode up with him couldn't leave until tomorrow.
This weekend should be hectic. I work sat,sun,mon,tues.. however, going to probably call in on monday since i cannot find anyone to work for me and well.. Andy and I are hanging out..haha i need a mental break from work, these last 2 weeks i have had bad calls.
The call of the day yesterday, not sure if it made it on the news but if around 3:30pm you were driving on I-75 northbound in troy and wondered why it was closed.. here is the reason.. A man "fixing" his car when he got "shocked" by the battery and went over the crooks rd overpass onto the 70mph northbound freeway traffic. This guy was super lucky.. He did not get hit by any cars however, he broke all of the bones in both of his legs, had internal bleeding. He had open factures too.. i mean.. the bones were coming out of his skin! Oh.. Arms were broken too.He didn't even hit his fucken head.. it was really really weird. He even fell right in the fricken fast lane! The guy even got himself a nice dedicated team of doctors who met us in the trauma room @ Beaumont. He was a level I trauma.. the most critical of them all.It was a very very weird call let me tell ya. I was working with a great guy who i went to paramedic school with. The 2 of us, only Paramedics for over 6 months get this guy.. weird Overall, Nick and I worked well together, we both year prior used to practice these types of incidents numerous times each day we were in class. So we just did it and didn't step on top of each other.
Anyways, time for bed.. And then i get to look forward to seeing Andy tomorrow @ 8:30pm!
Slow tomorrow and this weekend? What the fuck is up with that??? Thank god my tahoe that I work in has 4x4!
