Weird thought for the day
In the middle of our traditional viewing of The Best Christmas Pagent Ever, I could not help but be struck by how, if the Herdmans had just been born in Harlan County, they either would have fit right in, or possibly even have been considered good kids.
I am now filled with an inexplicable, but overwhelming, desire to watch a Justified Christmas Special, set in flashback during Raylan and Boyd's amazingly screwed-up childhoods, in the tone of Best Christmas Pagent Ever.
I will file this with my wish for a 'Raylan Givens and Dexter Morgan hunt the same criminal through the underbelly of Miami' mini-series, in the "Things that don't exist but should, damnit" folder.
