Putting this down so I don't forget
This isn't going to be international. If this was some flavor of Islamist fundie, they'd be on youtube, claiming credit.
I don't think it's organized domestic either. Almost all of them are either racially motivated, or hate the feds, or some mix thereof.
Which is what really frightens me, because at the end of the day, people motivated by an ideology, no matter how twisted and screwed up it might be, believe in something, and can be predicted, somewhat, because of this.
I'm usually the first person to cry conspiracy, but I really think, a week, a month, or a year from now, we're going to find that this was one guy, living in a basement somewhere, who woke up one day and decided that he'd kill and/or maim a couple hundred people because he fucking felt like it. Because he could.
