Dream || 1 || Friends and Family
Effects: feelings of happiness and contentness

It was a wonderful night in the kingdom of Seyruun. Everybody were celebrating Winter Solstice and her father, being the kind ruler that he was, threw a huge feast for all the people of Seyruun and the various guests from different kingdoms in honor the occasion. Amelia was there in the palace gardens, greeting and mingling with everybody along with father since that was part of her duty as a princess.
She smiled as she looked up from greeting a little boy and saw her friends, Lina and Gourry, devouring at least twenty plates full food. She made a note to get enough food for herself before the night was over , lest those two will finish everything. Her smile became wider when she spotted Zelgadis, sitting next to the couple, drinking a single glass of wine and just looking awkward as he tried to hide himself in his hood.
Poor Mr Zelgadis, he doesn't like big events like these. She looked at her father and excused herself. He nodded in understanding and went back to talking with ambassadors that gathered around him. She immediately went over her three friends.
"Great party, Amelia!" Lina exclaimed holding up a chicken leg in greeting.
"Yeah, good food too!" Gourry said as he bit into his chicken leg.
"Thank you!" she said and then turned to the chimera, "Mr Zelgadis, are you enjoying the feast?"
Zelgadis just said, "It looks nice."
The band has being playing for the last hour and Amelia go an idea. She took Zelgadis hand and pulled out of his chair, "You'll enjoy it more if you dance!"
Zelgadis looked at her and then at the eating couple, who were grinning like mad at him, and back at her.
"Just one dance." he told her. She was all smiles as she pulled into into the area that was the designated dance floor and instructed him on where to put his hands.
As they started swaying to the music, Amelia thought that this was the best Winter Solstice she had ever had.
