CLASS ♚ DEFENCE AGAINST DARK CREATURES
defence against dark creatures
♚ about. This is an elective class designed to prepare students for encounters with various sorts of dark creatures, ranging from the troublesome but generally benign Boggarts (and even Nifflers), to the merciless Dementors of Azkaban. All students are welcome, though do keep in mind that Professor Baratheon does not suffer fools kindly.
♚ instruction. The course will contain both a theoretical and practical portion. In the theoretical, the creature of the day (or week) will be discussed, along with any known defensive spells that may be of use. Then, if applicable, students will be required to face off against the afformentioned creature in a controlled, practical setting. (In the case of more dangerous creatures, such as the Dementor, spells will be practiced without a live aid).
